Cars have been my career and my passion for most of my life.
My name is Nik Rooney. I’m an ASE Master Automobile Technician with more than 15 years of professional experience in automotive repair, diagnostics and performance. At 33, I’ve already spent the better part of my life working on cars—and this is what I do every day.
I’ve always had a passion for cars, performance and racing. That experience ranges from everyday repair and difficult diagnostics to modified street cars and high-horsepower builds. My ASE Master certification is the foundation of my technical background, backed by extensive factory training including full Mopar and SRT certifications.
I founded Reno SpeedShop Autowerks to provide the kind of service I believe customers should be able to expect from this industry: honest communication, transparency, accurate diagnosis and quality workmanship. A vehicle is often the second-largest purchase a person makes. I treat every car that comes through the shop with the same care and attention I would give my own.
